Setting the Stage for Learning (Highland Rim School)
I am asking for a stage and microphone to build speaking confidence in my students. I believe it is important to help build confidence in public speaking from a very young age. My students are always asking me to have challenges and races. They love competitions no matter how small, so I am asking for an eggspert, spinning wheel, Kerplunk, and a head basketball hoop to use for formative assessments and review lessons. Room transformations have become a very popular way to make learning fun and meaningful. I am asking for materials for room transformations throughout the year to engage my students: chefs hats, aprons, detective glasses, surgical masks, superhero capes and mini flashlights. Also, I am asking for a doorbell, clipboards, gumball machine, and a visual time tracker to help with transitions and staying on task throughout the lesson.
