About the Program

Q: What is Wifi on the Go?
Wifi on the Go is an affinity program powered by T-Mobile and administered by LeanStream Resource Partners, LLC. It provides eligible student families and school employees with affordable, reliable phone and internet service, along with connected devices, at discounted rates. Each subscription also generates funding to support participating schools and organizations.

Q: Who is eligible to participate?
The program is available only to eligible stakeholders of schools, districts, colleges, and other organizations partnered with LeanStream. Participation is intended for private, non-commercial use.

Q: How many lines can my household enroll?
Each eligible student-family may have up to three (3) lines.

Q: In addition to providing me with incredible value, I heard the program also benefits my organization. How?
Great question! A portion of all subscriptions attributable to your LeanStream-affiliated organization is remitted back to them to support their mission, vision, and values. This way, your participation not only provides affordable connectivity for your family but also directly benefits your community.

Q: So then, are my subscriptions tax deductible if my organization is a tax-exempt or non-profit entity?
LeanStream does not provide tax advice and recommends that you consult with a qualified tax professional regarding your specific situation. Please note, however, that under LeanStream’s internal administrative guidance we cannot issue tax letters or tax receipts for Wifi on the Go subscriptions. This is because the fair value of the products and services provided through the program is considered greater than the cost of participation.


 

Subscriptions & Enrollment

Q: How do I start a subscription?
Simply complete your enrollment online and submit your initial payment. Once processed, your equipment will be shipped directly to your address.

Q: How soon will I receive my equipment?
Equipment typically arrives within 3–5 business days after your order is processed.

Q: How are payments handled?
Future payments are automatically billed each month to the card you provide at enrollment. No need to log in or manually pay each cycle.

Q: What payment methods are accepted?
Subscriptions must be established using a bank debit card or credit card. Prepaid cards, cash app cards, or similar forms of payment may be declined and refunded at LeanStream’s discretion.

Q: Can I enroll if I’ve had a subscription before?
Yes, but if you had a previous account that was terminated early, delinquent, or where equipment was not returned, your new payment will first be applied toward any outstanding balances before activating a new subscription.

Q: How do I cancel my service?
You can cancel your subscription at any time by contacting LeanStream support at 📧 info@leanstreamrp.com or 📞 (833) 943-4463 during normal business hours (Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM CST). You may also cancel by using the subscription account link included in your monthly email confirmation.


 

Devices & Service

Q: What devices are available through Wifi on the Go?
Wifi on the Go offers a variety of connected devices to meet the needs of student families and staff. Depending on your school or organization’s program, you may be able to choose from:

  • Smartphones with unlimited talk, text, and data on T-Mobile’s nationwide 5G network.
  • Mobile hotspots that let you connect laptops, tablets, and other WiFi-enabled devices wherever you have T-Mobile coverage.
  • Connected tablets, including iPad (10th Gen) and Samsung Galaxy A9+ models, which feature built-in 5G connectivity and hotspot capability.
  • Home internet devices, such as 5G gateways, for reliable in-home service.

Device availability and plan options may vary depending on your school district or sponsoring organization. Please check your program’s landing page for the most up-to-date offerings.

Q: Are there options to upgrade my phone?
Yes. LeanStream will periodically offer opportunities to upgrade to a new phone based on availability with T-Mobile. Subscribers who have maintained eligible subscriptions for six (6) months or more may be offered an upgrade option.


Q: Can I keep my existing phone number?
Yes. If you’d like to keep your current number, you can request to port it in from another carrier. To do so:

  1. Complete the Port-In Form.
  2. Provide your existing account details (such as your current carrier, account number, and PIN).
  3. LeanStream will handle the transfer, which typically takes 24–48 hours.

Tip: Don’t cancel your current service until your number has successfully transferred to Wifi on the Go.


Q: Is there a contract or minimum commitment?
No long-term contracts are required. Subscriptions are month-to-month, so you can stay enrolled as long as the service works for you.
That said, there are a couple of important requirements:

  • If you end your subscription within the first six (6) months, you must return your device(s).
  • If equipment is not returned, additional charges may apply, and future participation could be affected.
  • After the six-month period, you are free to cancel at any time without returning your device.

This policy keeps the program affordable and sustainable for all participants.


 

Program Rules & Compliance

Q: Are there restrictions on how I use my plan?
Yes. Wifi on the Go services are for private, non-commercial use only. LeanStream may review orders for compliance and reserves the right to cancel subscriptions if misuse is suspected.

Q: What happens if I don’t follow the program rules?
Subscriptions found to be in violation may be canceled, refunded in part, and the account closed.

Q: Why does LeanStream enforce these rules?
To keep the program affordable and sustainable for all eligible families, LeanStream must ensure fair participation and compliance.
